You will need a leash, a harness or collar, treats, and a long leash.

My goal in training is to teach you the skills you need to train your dog to the level of your goals. I prioritize positive reinforcement and work hard to build a relationship of trust between the dog and owner. 

I strive to keep owners and dogs comfortable, excited to train, motivated, and relaxed during the training process.

I do this through small step by step systems, games, and even therapeutic support groups for the owners.

I am a certified professional dog trainer through CPDT (CPDT - KA). I am also a certified control unleashed instructor (CCUI) and have completed the aggression in dogs master course. All three of these are pertinent for my reactive dog training system, and I adhere to their methods primarily. 

Most of this course was influenced and inspired by Leslie McDevitt, my CCUI instructor and training mentor. Her pattern games are relied on heavily throughout this course. 

Every dog learns at a different pace and is affected by things like age, owner compliance, and more.

However, my students have all seen improvement within 2 weeks of starting the program with regular practice.

Because of that, learning online is a very effective method, especially with professional video feedback, which is a part of your course!

With virtual training, you will learn the most by participating in our goal setting sessions, submitting videos for feedback, and joining our support groups to meet others in your shoes.

With reactivity training especially, virtual training is great to avoid the stress of a new person coming to your home and the risk that that poses to the trainer as well.
